How to Get Diabetic Drugs

• Full-time active PSC-CUNY Welfare Fund participants and non-Medicare-eligible retirees obtain all diabetic medications from their basic NYC Health Benefits Plan insurance carrier (i.e., GHI, HIP, etc.). The Welfare Fund Medco Prescription Drug Plan does not provide diabetic drugs to full-time active members or non-Medicare eligible retirees.

• However, retirees enrolled in Medicare obtain all diabetic medications from the Medco Prescription Drug Plan.
