What Is the PSC-CUNY Welfare Fund? Your Welfare Fund is a Supplemental Fund supported by contributions from the City University of New York in accordance with the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. The Supplemental aspect refers to the nature of the benefits, principally dental, prescription drug, extended medical, disability, death benefits, optical and a variety of smaller benefits. These are all offered through the Welfare Fund. Basic health benefits are provided directly through carriers such as GHI, HIP, Blue Cross and others. These are not part of the Welfare Fund. This website will allow you to access more information on those programs here. This website is a work in progress that Fund staff are updating and amending on a regular basis. We are providing the best information on our current benefits and changes that are coming into effect. We hope you will be able to use this site to answer many of your questions and concerns and also use it to enhance your communications with the Fund Office.
